Pours a dark, coffee-black, with rather small head. Aroma is hazelnut, maple syrup, vanilla, bitter chocolate. It is lightly sweet, with a touch of bitterness in the finish. Mouthfeel seems a bit on the thin side.

16 oz can from Tavour, 4/24/20. Pours an unclear, somewhat hazy burnt orange color with a foamy froth of off-white head and fairly strong lacework. Herbal, earthy, and citrus aroma. Flavor is similar with a spice / pepper kind of note and some rye bread on the finish. Taste is balanced between lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Medium body, clean feel. Has that Rye IPA mouthfeel to it, so I'm a little surprised it doesn't have rye in it. Pretty nice. 7/4/7/4/15
