33 cl bottle. Pours pitch black. Small brown head. Aroma is coconut and chocolate. Sweet, toasted, toffee and coconut. Sweet and roasted finish. Bitter and toasted malt finish.

Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with stable light tan head. Clear aroma of chocolate, barrel and coconut, with notes of yeast and touches of malt. Sweetish flavour of coconut, tonka beans amd barrel, with notes of yeast, malt and chocolate and some roasty touches. Roasty and malty aftertaste with barrellike touches. Very nice.

Bottle, 10.0%. Distinct vanilla aroma, or actually more like coconut. Black colour, seems clear. Very big, stable creamy dark brown head. The flavour is spicy from the hops, has some coconut. Bitter chocolate. A little boozy in the finish, but it is the good, warming kind of booze.

Clear gold beer, good white head. Palate is light, dry and has decent fine carbonation. Simcoe, Galaxy, Amarillo and Cascade. Palate is light, dry and crisp. Thin malts, sweetish. Plenty of floral citrus with a very mild hop spice nibble. Floral tangerine, little pith. Trace of tropical fruits. Light dry finish. Nice if a bit dry.

12oz bottle pours a very dark brown, not quite black, opaque though, and with some cloudy, beige head. Nose at first is huge with coconut and marzipan, Tootsie roll, lots of sweet notes, candies, cinnamon too. Flavor follows, thankfully some warmth mellowed it, toasted marshmellow, cinnamon candies, Tootsie roll, toffee, chestnut honey, suntan lotion. Finishes full bodied, sweet, sticky, boozy with light spice. Drinks WAY bigger than 8%.

BOTTLE. Opaque black, creamy dark espresso head. That savory sweet and spicy tonka feels good on top of sweet molasses and chocolate, with a hint of peppery alcohol to one side. The taste is just blowing off your buds with richness - sweet dried berries and coffee liqueur, tonka and chocolate cake - but does that in way that never overloads your senses - it remains a drink, not a liquid meal. Spicy alcohol with just enough hops and roast finishes things nicely. Gorgeous!
