Bottle at the April Fool's DC RateBeer tasting. Dark brownish with light tan head. Aromas of spice, brown sugar. Tastes of cinnamon, spice. Medium body with a dry finish.

Nice stuff. Enjoyed this more than the Prunem actually. Roast and caramel. Some dark chocolate and a hint of licorice like movie night. Black pour with good head and lacing. Bittersweet finish. Bottle.

Bottle 500ml. @ home. [ As Absztyfikant Sour Mate ].Clear medium to light amber orange colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, straw, dusty, citrus, light grain, light nutty. Flavor is moderate sweet, light light acidic and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, dusty, straw, pale malt, citrus, light nutty. Pours unclear blonde, no head. Smell is smoked, minor maltyness ( bread ) minor grassyness/ spicyness from the hops. Taste is sharp, bitter, full flavored, smokey, bit thin ending. Quite bitter for the style, as far as I know it. decent, very well made, I assume, but the rauch blocks me from really enjoying it. Quite impressive in the body and intensity.

Hazy amber beer, good cream colour head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light malts bring a light creamy sweetness. Resinous tangerine, ripe. Smooth Pine. Very mild hop spice. Tracee of lemon and Sweetish tropical fruits. Light smooth finish. Resinous citric linger. Pretty drinkable.
