Description
The first record of the inn and brewery “Zum goldenen Engel” in Crailsheim from 1738 reads “annual production volume 150 buckets.” In 1877 George Fachs becomes the new owner of the brewery. The Fachs family still owns - now in the fifth generation - the brewery. In 1984 Engel becomes the first German brewery to bottle Radler. Since the turn of the millennium, Engel-Biermanufaktur has developed into a specialty brewery that regularly receives awards for its beers.

0,5 l. bottle. Usual yellow/golden lagercolor with small white head. Smells sweet. Taste of grass and grain. Light sweet malts with caramel and perhaps of citrus too (?) Somewhat watered down - not a complex brew. Drinkable but not anything special.
