375ml bottle pours with a mahogany colored body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up a fair load of booziness to start and then stirring up notes of caramel, bourbon, prunes, figs and dates and then a bit more booze into the end of the draw. The taste delivers soft supple malt sweetness that quickly gives way to a rush of booze and bourbon barrel character. To midway the esters surface along side some of the reduced sugars. I get stewed prunes, dates and then a touch of blunted caramel soaked spicy oak. This checks all the boozy sipper boxes and comes across as a great experience.

375 ml bottle from Tavour, 12/31/21. Vintage 2021 / Release 3 / Cases bottled: 99. Dark brown color, somewhat sheeting medium brown head. Vanilla and bourbon coming through over some semi-sweet coffee, roast, and a little milk chocolate. Bit of a raisin / dark fruit thing coming through underneath. A bit of heat on the palate, but overall it hides the ABV fairly well. This is a pretty tasty beer. 8/4/7/4/16

Bottle from Tavour. Pours dark brn/blk with some transient bubbles. Aroma of coffee, whiskey and burnt malt. Full bodied. Flavor is lightly sweet from toasted malt, there's a whiskey note that isn't bourbonish, and the main thing is coffee. Seems almost dry! I am having trouble parsing flavor things, but the flavor is really, really good.

I wished for BA of this earlier in the year and I got it! Fantasticly smooth caramel malt booze, some hops appear when at room temp but otherwise super easy drinking toffee juice. Medium light bodied tastiness.

Bottle from Tavour. Pours clear, tho dark, brown with a slight, transient tan head. Aroma is a clash between bourbon and barley. Very full bodied. Flavor is barley malt clashing with bourbon and moderately old wood. Astringency clutches at my tongue roots, but brown sugar rises above that. Incredibly smooth. Heat is at a pleasing level. Did I mention smooth? Did I mention tasty? This is fantastic ale.

Bottle from Tavour. Pours dark brn/blk with a large creamy/foamy dark tan head. Aroma of chocolate, cinnamon and chilies. Full bodied, or nearly so. Flavor of chilies, chocolate, cinnamon, burnt/toasted malt and vanilla. Not dry, but not sweet. A bit hot from chilies. Heat and chilies replace hop bitter. Quite tasty.

Almost get some rye forward notes off this but I'm loving whiskey BA stouts recently. Coconut adds some nice sweetness to base chocolate and brownie vibes are there! Yummy!
