Swore I rated something very similar a few years ago. $3 can from GBX, pint glass @home. Hazy, pale pour. Big soda head. Smell is big on sharp apples & Big Red cinnamon with a faint vinegar & plastic wild whiff on the back-end. Apple pie-ish. Sharp, tart & gummy upfront, medium sweet. Middle is a bold punch of red cinnamon & bitter birch, light floral, with a lingering tail of apple cinnamon vanilla. The apple is too red & fresh, even for back-sweetening. Natural flavors on the label make me suspect. Dusty, numbing texture, strong carb, vinegary, very acidy. Interesting cocktail.

Can from the Whale Outpost. Though they are hit or miss, I'm glad to see another funky cider company competing down here. Mojito glass @home by the LED fire. Hazy, pale Orangina, sizzling & collapsing soda head. Nose is almost all sweet n sour passion fruit puree. Tangy apple base, orange zest, a very slight bit of lingering sulfur. No hops in this new version sadly. Orange TicTacs upfront, all passion fruit down the line. Tangerine oil+starch+sugar+acid+wax=TicTac. Apple core. Lingering tangerine oil & calcium. Pleasant bittersweet, Asprin finish. Strong carbonation, big acid, middling tart, lightly sweet. More fruit sour than cider. Liked.

12oz can from the Whale Outpost. Mojito glass @home while wrapping things & writing cards. Clear if slightly suspended magenta-plum pour with a crashing soda head. Upfront sloppy sulfur, quickly dissipates. Noticeable bergamot, faint non-descript apples, curiously strong herbals/medicinal, cherry Dr. Pepper. More herbal-sweet cherry than anything upfront. Bergamot without the tea is kinda interesting. Caramel. Veggie+apple sauce+dried sour pineapple with a lingering medicinal cherry finish. Mad Elf notions. Twinge of oxidation. Headache. Prickly, medium low carb, slightly syrupy, not boozy enough. Too much at once. Okay-ish.

Dusty, mostly clear, orange amber pour. Warm, faux spiced, barreled floral dessert apples. Tart, sharp apples, semi-sweet, diluted bourbon, lime-y, grape essence, lovely acidity, thick apple skin tannic finish. Kinda good to very good.

Single from City Swiggers. Pint glass back @home. Plum-grape hazy pour. Sizzling soda head leaves as fast as it came. Ton of dark plum/grape skin astringency melding with very zesty & herbaceous limes. Almost key lime sweet on the nose. Very faint vinegar. The very end has some hibiscus fruit punch. Lingering nose. Plum, serious grape dip confectionery, vanilla, zingy sweet cherry almond, limes are less blatant, but a constant. Something reminiscent of Mountain Dew in here. Semi-sweet, snappy apples. Herby bitterness on the tail. Strong acid, great bite, thin, juicy, touch of vinegar keeping it wild. Nostalgia + fresh flavors. This is just lovely.

Single from City Swiggers after verifying with Graft that this was a new recipe. Pint glass @home. Fizzy ghost head, peachy-watermelon hazy body. Sour jam nose: strawberry & muscadine; bath bomb vanilla-berry confectionery. Slightly stuffy sulfur at the beginning that dissipates. Kinda nice. Melon, ginger, strawberry, guava. At least two of these are wrong guesses. Very fruit punch, slightly textured & earthy, kinda dessert & bittersweet apple blend underneath. Obvious hibiscus & floral notes once it warms. Soda carb is strong initially, belly burn acid, mild earthy bitterness, tart fruit, middling apple presence, touch of a headache. Tis good though.

Single can from Botanist for $9, vs $18 for a 4-pack at Appalachian. Mojito glass @home. Hazy, deep plum, almost cherry-colored, fast hitting soda head. Grape-y-plum-cherry deep nose. Juicy & dense blueberry, vinous, melon, lime, faint floral, sharp apple, subtle vanilla, earthy finish yum-ness. Juicy, spirited, prickly, more acidic, lightly yeasty feel. Conflicted. Very different brews. This one might be better.

Can. A- Passion fruit, tropical, hoppy. A- Gold color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Hops, bitter, passion fruit, musty. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. O- Hard time believing this was hop free. Had a dank bitterness that I guess came from the passion fruit. Mediocre at best.
