Heavily hazy-to-soupy, bronze-maize-golden, large white head steadily falls to ring/cover.
Nose is dense and packed with both heavily fruity ester (apple, strawberry, nectarine) and deep, green, dank notes featuring red grapefruit, pine (low resin) and unripe pineapple. But there's little/no twang or resin and the malts are gently supportive adding biscuit and cracker behind it. No alcohol or flaw.
In the mouth it's equally dense and subtle at first, with plentiful pine-lemon, yet a very soft, malty texture with good attenuation and hints at some juiciness to come, as it warms/breathes. Pineapple, light mango and sweet lime do emerge and it shows a surprising lack of resin or alcohol. Red grapefruit, mango and ripe nectarine replace some of the potentially "hard", bitter citrus notes eventually. Very soft, almost creamy texture with engaging, proper carbonation and no alcohol or flaw.

The nose has never been the problem with their beers and here, like Rekkr, it shows properly juicy yellow fruits (mango, nectarine, pineapple and tangerine) with low bitterness/acidity and a soft, biscuity malt behind it. Fruity, bubble gum-laden yeast further intensifies the juice character and softness/fruitiness. No alcohol or flaw.
In the mouth, HALLELUJAH! PRAISE ODIN!, we've got a texture. A real, supple texture and actual malt depth. Furthermore, it's not twangy and resinous. Dry and malty in the mouth with engaging carbonation and juicy, fruity hop notes of tangerine, lime, lemon, orange, mango and pineapple. It's not the most supple texture ever, but it's certainly on the right track and it more than stands up to the beer and leaves you feeling like you drank a beer, not just hop water. The lack of resin and scallion here is impressive, as well, as these hops are both given to a lot of scallion (the Mosaic) and heavy twang (El Dorado).

Biscuity malts, bubble gummy esters and peach-lime-mango-pineapple from the hops all give a pretty solid rendition of the NE IPA, albeit it's all quite light on the tropical and juice notes with more bubble gum and melon from the yeast in its place. This gives it a little less brightness than it could achieve, but at least isn't doughy or overly bland from all of the yeast. No alcohol or flaw noted, either.
In the mouth it's dry, light-bodied and showing a lot less juice or malt depth than I'd expect given the nose. Quite lacking in maltiness with zero sweetness for comfort even despite the very low bitterness. Peach-papaya and light mango-pineapple with strong, husky, grainy notes on the end. Clean and no alcohol or resin, but just so very little substance.

Glassy, moderately-to-lightly hazy, soft blonde-golden. White head atop shows moderate retention.
So much Mosaic in the nose. While there's some good pineapple, nectarine and tangerine, there's also moderate onion and heavy vegetal, almost plastic-y character.
Quite malty for Mason's; usually they feel a bit thin and undermalted, though this here has some softness to it. Pretty carried away with the Mosaic trend here and it's just bursting with lime, garlic, onion, pineapple and lemon. Tons of pine and vegetal character. Low bitterness, mostly engaging carbonation. Ok.

16 oz. can. Appearance is a cloudy orange color, fast dying head. Aroma is tropical fruit, yeast, peach, and light sugar. Flavor follows and shows a malty sweetness that says, "Drink me NOW!" And again I find a touch of sugar. Also more malty sweetness than I perfer.
It has almost no bitterness at all. I understand they are going for the "New England" IPA craze. Well, they almost pulled it off. The mouthfeel isn't quite right and the sugar is a big distraction for me.

Bright coppery-golden, good clarity and reasonably well-retained, white head atop.
Initially I get some of the tropical, juicy hops, but it quickly transitions in to strong citrus and finally resin. Medium malts give a bready character that detracts from the hops. Alcohol is well-concealed and there's no flaw.
In the mouth it's about as twangy/punchy and resinous as you can get. Add to it some strongly bready malt and finish it off with a lingering sour resin. Nice carbonation and reasonable texture and attenuation. But they've absolutely butchered the shit out of the hops here. Tough to drink more than a few small sips.

Sample from the Thirsty Moose Manchester Hazy light gold in color with a thin white head. Rich bready caramel maltiness with bits of resin and pine with hints of fruity citrus to counter. Tasty beer but a hint too sweet for my tastes.
