My first dill pickle beer! Not bad but more of a novelty. Would be really good to cook with. Can pick up a whiff of hops. Pickles really come through in the flavor. Just right tartness really reminds me of a good pickle. Almost even seems to have some snap.

12 oz can from Binny's. Golden pale ale pour, with plenty of haze and a thick foamy head. Smell of grapefruit, apricot and pine. Nice hoppy mix on the tongue, with more of that grapefruit, tempered by pine resin. Fruity and just a little bit puckery.

Draught @ Centennial, Chicago. Cloudy lemon yellow with a large foamy whitish head, sharp citrus peel-mint aroma, low carbonation, mildly bitter unripe mango-citrus peel taste with mint aroma, smooth thin body, long flavorful finish. Great flavor profile.

Cloudy medium orange body, thick dense cream head. Aroma mostly fermented papaya, with additional notes of stone fruits (including pear). Sweet body, with melon, papaya, and lychee; the candied tropical fruits are paired with a sharp prickly tannic element. Smooth.

Single can from Mariano's, Westmont. Big citrusy hop nose right under the tab. Pours a golden color with a slight haze, under a thick head. Taste has an upfront alcohol warmth, then followed by some citrus, and piney hop burn. Good call for a double-APA.

In the can, resin dominates, but in the glass citrus does and then resin with some wet grain. Flavors are similar to nose, with good balance between bitter, sweet and carbonation. Add in some weed. Leans a bit sweet but not bad at all. Good body and finish. Nice beer.

Pint can from Festival Northland, 3/20/23. Clear gold. Maybe a slight haze. Large off-white head, good retention. Aroma of green, dank, pale malt. Aroma is pretty weak. Taste is green, dank, pale malt, apple, lemon. Crisp, strong bitterness. Nice.

The aromas are mainly fresh resin hops with a little bit of citrus. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, citrus comes out more along with a little bit of wort. Mildly sweet up front with excellent carbonation and bitter to balance. Very good body and super easy drinking. Nice beer.
