Bottle @ home. A bit hazy yellow golden color, huge soapy white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly ginger or at least some sort of herb or spice, quite bitter especially in the finish. Quite fizzy carbonation, ok body.

Bottle @ De Stokerij, Gent. Golden colour, white foam. Grassy with malty notes. Bitter and spicy. Not very good, not bad. Decent.

New blonde beer available in several Ghent pubs and restaurants. Snow white, stable, rocky and sticky head over a hazy yellow blonde beer. Aroma of a delicate lemon blossom fragrancy, peach, orange peel, red apple, wodka, freshly cut grass, lemon peel, hay, gin, lavender, thyme but unfortunately some DMS (cooked green cabbage) too. Dry fruitiness, apple peel and citrus touch, green plums, sharpish and minerally carbonation, grainy base, yeasty with sourish and spicy accents, vaguely saison-like, with some peppery hops in the finish. Nothing out of the ordinary but certainly enjoyable.

Huge, dense & fine if later fluffy white head, faintly yellowish tinted by clear pale yellow beer, faintly greenish and lively carbonated. End of bottle solid yeast. Herbal/grassy nose, faintly lactic. Quite hoppy, herbal-bitterish flavour, slowly giving way to grassy, pale maltflavours, suggesting white candi sugar. Faint acidity from the CO². Warming up, becomes a bit soapy. Quite carbonated feel, slick, light to medium bodied. Nice bitterish ale. Nothing breathtaking or exotic, but pleasing.

25/I/14 - 33cl bottle from the brewer @ Nieuwjaarsreceptie Gentse Biervereniging - BB: VI/2015 (2014-124) Thanks to Kristof for sharing the bottle!!

Clear blond beer, creamy white head, pretty stable, non adheisve. Aroma: very yeasty, spicy, ginger, orange peel, some coriander. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: very yeast, some coriander, citrus, orange peel, spicy, pretty bitter, grassy, bit soapy. Aftertaste: citrus, bitter hops, bit soapy, coriander, some alcohol. Interesting to hear from the brewer that apparently there is not coriander used in this brew. The saison yeast probably brings forth some of those alkaline characteristics that remind me of coriander.
