330ml bottle @ La Robe et La Mousse, Saint Germain, Paris. Pours a clear gold, aroma of dusty cinnamon, chai, light berries. Taste similarly introduces each element softly and all seem to blend well together with a subtle raspberry presence. Never seen a cider with this combination before, but it works.

No head but constantly renewed rim, over orange-ochre, hazy cider. Sourish apples, but in time smelling sweeter, glue. Way sweeter in the mouth, bit of wood, old wrinkled dried apples. Sweet-slick applejuice, as reduced. Too sweet in the end - if the nose was still suggesting Granny Smith, it turned towards overyear Golden Delicious. Thanks to Tim for sharing!...

330ml bottle from Appleyards, Shrewsbury. Thanks Mike! Pours clear gold, initial white head that slowly recedes. Good fresh lightly sweet French apple fruit aroma. Taste is light apple fruit, some caramel syrup on the finish. Not the best Normandy cidre but it’s alright.

330ml bottle from a French deli stall at Shrewsbury Food Festival June 2016. Pours clear gold, good persistent white head. Aroma is lovely vivid French cider apple. Taste is bright and spritzy with a moderate cidre fruitiness. Not bad.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Tom L. Golden. Sweet rich apples flavor with a bit of spices and some berry. Apples flavor, starts sweet, a bit caramelly, continues mildly tart, dry, with berries and a citric note. A good one.
