20th May 2017. Cotteridge #3. Cheers Ian for the 750ml bottle of this (we were sat next to each other): got the second pour before it set off around the tables. Dark brown body, thin topping. Sour berries in the nose and taste, citrusy and vinous throughout. I do try and enjoy these sort of beers, but they are not really to my taste. Scored objectively.

Bottle at Cotteridge Convention 2017. It pours cloudy reddish - brown with a medium beige head. The aroma is sweet - sour, tangy, jammy fruits, berry, oak, vanilla, lactic and vinous. The taste is dry, tangy, fruity, sweet - sour, lactic, vinous, warming alcohol, damp leaves, leather and stewed fruits. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Doesn’t quite have the depth r balance, but it is pleasant nonetheless.

Bottle shared at Cotteridge Convention 2017. Cheers Ian. It pours cloudy dark brown with a medium tan head. The aroma is rich, juicy, tangy, sour, vinous, jammy fruits, Victoria sponge cake and candy. The taste is soft, sweet - sour, tangy, light sugars, sour candy, wood, lemon sherbet, green apple, berry skin, must, funk, damp wood and leather. Medium body and fine carbonation. Well rounded and rather tasty. Good sour brown.

Bottle at CWC III; hazy amber pour with a tiny beige head, aroma has some vinous action, taste has sweet caramel, dark fruits, got some hints of brett.

Tried at the 3rd annual cotteridge tasting. Cloudy mid brown colour with a thin tan head. I really liked this beer, the aroma was yeasty and tart berries. The taste light sour and tart citrus. Medium body and very drinkable.
