Keyaki fall 2016. Apple and pear on the nose with good fruit esters. Alcohol well-hidden. Some clove and light spice on the palate. Light, maybe some wheat in there. Finish has some light pepper and soft fruit. I like it.

Keyaki fall 2016. Very floral with some light orange blossom and peach notes. Well-balanced, but more malt comes out on the palate. Easy drinking with some stone fruit notes. Decent stuff. --- Beer merged from original tick of Anosteké India Pale Ale* on 18 Sep 2016 at 14:14 - Score: 7

Bouteille 75cl, # 507/780. Brune voire ambrée, col léger beige retombant rapidement. Arôme offre de belles effluves de Bourbon sans pour cela être trop dominantes. Retrouve un léger rétro-nasal funk, levure sauvage, fruité noir et de baies avec un complément malté restant assez basique mais offrant de fines effluves de caramel, grains concassés. Palais est modéré procurant un léger caractère des quasi 10% avec une pointe malt caramel et grillé et une fine douceur venant du Bourbon, offrant ainsi un subtil côté vanillé. Retrouve une fine aigreur qui est bien complétée par le malt caramel, voire crystal et sucre candy.

Bottle shared at the chriso and Ruth pre GBBF Shindig 2016 - London. Day 1. Pours lightly hazy orange-gold with a creamy, white head. The nose holds alcohol, dough and ripe tangerine. Medium sweet flavour, boozy, with light yeast, more ripe citrus. Full bodied with average carbonation. Warming finish with mild bitter citrus rind. Heavy handed, but not bad.

Bottle shared at the chriso and Ruth pre GBBF Shindig 2016 - London. Day 1. Pours mostly clear yellow with a creamy, white head. The nose is nice, with notes of lemon, yeast. Light to medium sweet flavour with subtle dough, pithy lemon, light grapefruit. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Lightly warming in the finish, with soft lemony tang. Lovely stuff.

75 cl bottle. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is toasted malty. Roasted malty, slight breadish malty. Toasted malty, caramelish. High carbonation. Roasted malty finish.

Sampled from 0.75 l bottle at RBBSG 2016 in Evergem. Hazy, dark brown with a beige head. Sweetish-malty, a little yeasty-spicy aroma of caramel, some chocolate, red fruits and cloves. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity and a bit yeasty-spicy taste of caramel, honey, red fruits and some clove, followed by a short, moderately bitter and a bit dry finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!
