Bottle at RBBWG 2016 in Antwerpen. Hazy, golden amber, tan to white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly sourish aroma of caramel, honey, rhubarb, lemon and some wood. Sweetish-malty, slightly sourish taste of caramel, honey, rhubarb, lemon and some wood, followed by a short, medium tart, rather bitter finish. Thin to medium body, slightly creamy and spritzy mouthfeel. Nice!

Thank you for sharing erickok! 500 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBWG V. BBF 2039 (optimistic & vestly excessive in my opinion). Hazy orange. Nose is lightly sour white wine, grape, sour lemon, strange. Taste is heavy on plaster, mold, weird sour white wine plaster, milky, alcoholic. Body is plaster & alcohol. Strange, not a fan due to the heavy plaster & odd sour notes combined with strong alcohol on top.

Clear orange beer, small irregular off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, bit sourish, peaches, bit soapy, yeast notes. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter start, spicy yeast, bit alcoholic, sourish touch, bit funky, peaches, fruity. Aftertaste: yeast, some alcohol, lots of banana peel, bitter touch.

Sampled from bottle @ Ratebeer Belgian Winter Gathering 2016. Hazy orange color, average sized white head. Aroma is citrussy and floral with a hint of fruitpeel. Taste wheat, lightly malts, a touch of yellow fruit, some fruitpeel slightly bitter hint, quite fruity overall and again a bit floral. Not a barley wine at all imo, but a decent beer.

Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Amber haze lasting cream head. Sherbet hop aroma. Really quite spicy in the mouth. Almost a woody bourbon flavour. I rather liked it. A bit sweet and syrupy, but I rather liked it. Well made. Good strong blond beer.

Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Hazy pure gold lasting white head. Definitely a hopppy aroma. A little biscuit on aroma, I suppose I expected more esters, and there are some and sometimes the hops don’t quite fit with the yeast. But it’s fine and I quite liked the hops.

Bottle. Pours unclear blonde to amber. OK white head. Intense, hopped scent. Some sweet malts. great stuff so far ! Taste is fairly bitter. Has some hop-features, but a strange side-taste. Metallic, but different than the average metallic tastes. I feel like the yeastyness is a bit off ( dry, metallic, overripe fruits ) but it could just as well be the malts that are different. ’Off’ is a personal opinion here, not sure if it’s a brewing mistake at all, its just not my thing.

Piwo dość mocno nagazowane - dało to bardzo obfitą pianę, aż nie dało się przelać normalnie. W aromacie przyprawowo-cytrusowy zapach. Czuć brzoskwinię, nieco skórki od chleba i rodzynek. W smaku lekko cytrusowe, ziołowe i kwiatowe. Trochę przypraw w tle. Piwo nieco zbyt wodniste. Ogólnie rzec biorąc wyszło na plus.

Bottle at home. Slight hazy golden with small white head. Lime and lemon up front, with some marmalade, apricot and light green leaves. Light toast, with light biscuit malts and a light mineral and yeasty touch. There’s also a touch of milk chocolate from the grains. Under medium sweet and medium bitter. Medium bodied with nice carbonation. Ok.

0.75 l bottle (#422) from saveur-biere.com. Golden with an orange glow and a persistant white head leaving lacework. Fruity-sourish nose. Full-bodied, malty-sweet start with apricot and a touch of peach, some berries and a yeasty-fruity touch of Brett-like sourness is omnipresent. High abv well-hidden, so schnaps-y flavours detectable. Complex yet highly drinkable despite the strength.
