12oz bottle. Smooth and easy on the palate. Roasty chocolate, slick black malt, and a steady juniper balance. Unique, rather excellent beer. A pleasure to drink. Lots of finesse, not sugary or too heavy but still full bodied. Solid offering, quite enjoyable. My favorite Porter I’ve had in ages.

Sample at SBWF. Hazy brown with small head. Tart aroma of red berries with some vinous notes of red grapes. Sour berry taste with vinous notes and a little bit of blackcurrant. Tart finish. Great sour!

Bottled@SBWF2015. Deep amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some sour wood and mild spices. Flavour is quite similar with a slight touch of oak barrel, vanilla and some bourbon sweetness.

Sample at SBWF 2015. Hazy reddish with a minimal head. Vinous and a fairly tart aroma of berries, wood and fruit. Similar taste. Also with notes of red wine. An interesting and nicely drinkable one.

Sample at SBWF 2015. Hazy golden with a white head. Fairly mild with citrus, some grass, yeast and light spices. The body was around medium and the bitterness on the light side.

Sample from bottle 155/780 at SBWF 2015. Dark brown with a small head. Tart aroma of wood, toffee and some hints of bourbon. Similar taste, also with citrus and more toffee. Not a bad one.
