Draft at the source. Black color, thick brown head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pumpernickel, spiced brown bread, burnt coffee, cocoa. Taste is rich cocoa and coffee grounds, subtle smoke. Wow!

Draft at the source. Cloudy amber brown color, bright tan head. Aroma of toasted caramel and nutella. Taste is bittersweet and lightly spiced toasted hazelnuts. Delicious.

Very light golden yellow fluffy white head. Nose is wheat, spice and honey with a touch of nectarines. Big mouthfeel with coriander and bitter orange peel. Very nice dry finish. Pretty much exactly to the style but a bit spicy.

Taster @ the brewpub. Aroma consists of rustic malt with floral and herbal notes with some yeast. Taste is a complex mix between some rustic malt notes with some floral undertones and nice yeasty wheat component. Notes of wild flowers and fresh cut grass. Body is light and refreshing. I would drink this again and worth the growler. Nice job!!

Taster @ the brewpub, Very interesting concept with them grits. The malt element really surprised me. The flavor has a grainy base complemented by caramel malts, corn husk notes. A nice creamy mouthfeel that makes it easy to drink. The grain and the malt are a slightly different take. And I can’t remember the last time I eat Grits. At least 7 or 8 years ago visiting a buddy in South Carolina. But it does have a rustic feel to it. Interesting to try and its almost gone, so I was happy to try it.

Taster @ the brewpub. Real nice blend of hops. Lots of bright fruits on the nose with clean malt. Feels good in your mouth to swish around, giving you flavors of grapefruit, pineapple and some light resin. Really great flavor at 4.5%. This beer pretty much perfectly balanced, it has an outstanding flavor. Very easy to down it. The body was light to medium with a dry texture. Pretty damn nice.

Dark ruby red, slightly brown 3 finger creamy head Nice amber malt nose. Nice spelt corn and wheat as well. Slightly sweet. Taste is very malty but in a masculine up front way and not boozy. Candied sugar finish. Wheat and grist. Some cherry tones

Dark brown to black. A finger of pillow like creamy head Very heavy with chocolate and rye. Husky smoked malts Nice smoky presence. No campfire at all. The rye comes through and there’s this fantastic blend of smoke, rye, and toffee / cocoa. Very interesting and unique. Might be great with a touch of vanilla and bourbon!!! Very creamy mouthfeel and fun to swish
