Bottled (BBE 05/1991, thanks for sharing Vilho!). Deep reddish amber colour with a huge foamy off-white head, that leaves good lace. Aroma is sweet malts, some nutty notes, mild burnt sugar as well as some slight alcohol sweetness and plum. Flavour is dried fruits, sweet malts, nutty notes, some rye as well as burnt sugar and some mild alcohol tones. Quite nicely aged, although quite much on the sweet side of things.

Raisinny aroma. Sweet flavor. Roasted malt, raisin, pear. Re-rate: up a few points. It is a very nice beer, although not very complex. Found some chocolate and tropical as the beer warmens.

Converting ticks to ratings. Had this back in early 2000's or so, at Café Gollem. 25cl Bottle. Dark brown beer, beige head. Sweet, malty, dark fruits, some chocolate, forest fruits. Medium bodied. I really enjoyed the Ciney beers back then, this was imho their finest, but wasn't widely available.

From old tasting notes. Cloudy reddish copper color. Even, creamy beige head. Sweet, perfumy malt nose. Fruity malt flavor hints at tangerine and chamomile. Subtle spicy hop finish.
