Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 8/25/12
Aroma: The nose is light, not much going on, some malty and citrus notes
Appearance: It pours a cloudy golden-orange color with a white head
Flavor: The taste is lightly sweet, with some citrus, grains, and a mild bitterness
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has a soft feel and a fairly short duration
Overall Impression: Overall, this one is kind of boring. It was described as a nice "hoppy" American-style IPA by the waiter, but that certainly isn't what I got...

Tap at the brew pub, Chelsea Pier - 01/03/12. Listed at the brewpub as 9%ABV and titled ’Hoppy Holidays’. Mid brown verging on dirty orange in colour with a small to medium white head. Hoppy citrus nose with sweet malt and caramel background notes. Again taste is citrus but not mega hoppy, get a little biscuit and caramel and grassy notes. Medium bodied and easy drinking for it’s strength.

On tap at the brew pub, Chelsea Pier - 01/03/12. Pours a golden amber colour with a smallish bubbly white head. Not a big nose on this IPA more sweet malts than a hop assault. Bready malty taste, a little caramel, hops in the background. Medium in body and carbonation. I’d describe this as a beginners IPA ! Pretty average in my book!

Clear yellow-amber color, small white head. Fruity hoppyness in the nose. Light to medium-bodied. Fruity (peach, pine) hoppy flavor. Suprisingly feels much less than 7%. Piney finish. Standard, simple but OK.

Deep clear nutty brown color, steady beige head. Aroma of toffee, nutty hoppyness. Medium-bodied. Front has toffee-butterscotch, then woody hoppyness together with sweetness. English type strong ale with alcohol boost. Good drinkability, despite of ABV not glueish.

On tap at Stags Head for holiday Monday lunch. Tastes of bourbon, and dark fruit, cola, and chocolate when u drink it, however it’s surprisingly thin for a barrel aged stout.
