Cider I took off my local hipster beer market shelf after getting bored of the same usual 4-pack. Been meaning to try this, but not at their usual price. Rare Vos glass. Igored the wax & went straight for the clasp. Sleeping yeasties at the bottom of the bottle, be wary. Violet-colored brew. Not quite clear or that active of a pour. Smells of berries, roses, vinegar & acetone. So much acetone. Mostly flat with a hunkered in sparkle. Funky/sour/acidic sidra, & purple-grape flavors. Mucho acetone getting in the way. Veggy. Cough syrup. Slick. Could have went better.

Sample at Bob's Bar during the "Little Fish Brewing Night!" on 03/22/2018. This Cider is a slightly clear pale yellow color with a medium white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Aroma of apples, vinegar and yeast. Medium body with flavors of oak, tart and funky apples and vinegar. The finish is fruity with a tart apple aftertaste. Above average overall.

Ben drinking this 500mL bottle for a few months. Why? Well, it's hard to drink. At first I like the strong but not overly spicy pepper flavor. Fish peppers are interesting that way. But anything more than a cursory overview of this cider makes you realize how offputting it all is. Very herbal, heather, and mothballs tea aroma. Flavor has pepper and similar mothballs.

Bottle at the DC RateBeer tasting. Hazy golden orange. Aromas of rum, oak, vanilla. Tastes of apples, honey, oak, light rum. Light body with a dry finish. Not a big fan of the rum barrel with this.

750ml bottle pours a murky, blood orange color with some cloudy, white head. Nose is clear with vinegar/acid, stone fruits but nail polish too. Flavor has plum, white plum, nail polish, pomegranate vinegar. Very hot finish.

750ml bottle at the January DC Ratebeer tasting. Batch 002. Poured a dark, mostly clear ruby red color with a little bit of purple in there. Virtually no head at all. Tart, funky fruit, some rum, plum. Pretty tasty.

Plum makes things interesting here. Millstone always makes interesting ciders. Tangy plum vibe like flanders. Bottle.

From a bottle at the RB DC gathering on January 7, 2018 it is a clear pale golden color with a feint head. The Aroma of plum and honey. The taste is slightly sweet with hints of sourness and has Granny Smith apple tartness
