ABV: 10.0%. Clear dark Black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, coffee, barrel, wood, barrel - bourbon. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, roasted, barrel, wood, coffee, sweet malt, dark malt, barrel - bourbon. Body is medium to medium full, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Keg at CW Family & Friends, Session 1 @Manchester Central, 21/02/20. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is light breads, clove, orange pee, caramel. Taste comprises tangy fruit esters, breads, spice, herb, hedgerow, caramel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a spike of balanced alcohol. Ok but lacking depth for the ABV and I'm not picking up any barrel notes.
