Description
Three Notch’d Brewing Company was conceived by three friends who value great beer and great times, with close family and friends. Each of us has a great appreciation for individualism, respect for hard work and earning our ability to give back to the communities we live in. We opened our doors for commercial operation in August of 2013 and work each day to Leave Our Mark on the craft brew industry and Charlottesville, VA by making great beer and collaborating with all lovers of the craft beer industry. We hope that you will join us and Leave Your Mark, too.

Faint aroma of lillies. Clear amber, medium head. Dandelion and lemongrass flavor, subtle. Light body. Sessionable, but a little boring.

Lemon, lillies, dish soap aroma. Clear yellow, thin head, good lacing. Lillies, clover, and corn silk flavor. Light body. Very interesting interpretation of kolsch. Not my favorite, but distinctive. More ale than lager.

Honey and dandelion aroma. Clear amber, thin head. Hominy and grass flavor. Fizzy. A cream ale that I actually enjoy. I don’t like this style very much, but this has personality.

Soapy lemon, dandelion, lilly aroma. Clear amber, medium head, good lacing. Flavor is lillies with a strange sweet dairy-like quality. Grassy finish. Not terribly off-putting, but probably not what the brewers intended.
