4 oz pour on drat at Glen’s Garden Market. Dark brown with beige head. Aromas of caramel, toffee, roast, toast. Tastes of caramel, toast, chocolate, floral notes, citrus. Medium body with a dry finish.

Light citrus with some kind of interesting twang of anise root or something. Just a hint. Golden pour with OK lacing. Light bitter finish. Good package. Some grass. Tap at American Taproom.

Was expecting a scotch ale and this is what happened. I forsook the funk I guess. A note of bread yeast with some sour plum and something like barley noodle aroma. Tangy finish, and interesting. Pours red without much or lacing. Some grape. Tap at brewpub.
