Draft at the source, in downtown Silver Spring. Poured a clear yellow color with a small fizzy white head. Aroma was light sweet malts, with some earthy, Czech hop notes. Pretty crisp, easy to drink. Not mind blowing, but I’d hand this off to someone making the leap into craft beer or if I wanted something light and easy to drink.

Had this on tap at Mussel Bar in Bethesda MD. Poured a clear golden color with a small white head. Aroma was strong notes of coffee, with a pretty strong notes of Belgian IPA, style notes to it. Yeasty. Tasty. Lots of coffee, which actually worked considering how light the beer is, something that doesn’t usually work out when you’re not dealing with more roasted malts.

Coffee overpowers most of the Belgian yeast here, though there is a faint amount still discernible. Pours blonde with good head and lacing. Medium bitter finish. If there is any hop profile, the coffee obliterates it. Had it on guest tap at Right Proper.
