Keg at Right Proper, DC, 13/04/23. Chestnut brown with no head. Nose is vinous, oak, tangy red berries, funk, brett pangs. Taste comprises sherry tinged oak, funk, dried fruit rinds, figs, raisins, wood must. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a boozy rise and balanced puckering edge. Not bad.

Taste comprises light nana, brown bread, dried fruit tang, dates, straw, herb. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Passable.

Taste comprises damp oak, tarte red berry fruits, funk, vinous, balanced acidic bite, vinous, oak. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close with a balanced puckering edge laced with subtle acidity. Not bad.

Taste comprises citric tinged straw, tangerine, lemon rind, herb, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with modest dusty hop bitterness. Passable affair ... rather basic and lacking any real hop presence or refreshment.

50cl bottle, clear amber with a ring of white head. Nose of persimmon and red wine vinegar, raw grain but some paper too, soggy wood, earthy. Flavor has more, there is some berry character along with the persimmon and tomato, red wine vinegar, grain and some sugar, wood, raspberry tea. Finishes medium bodied, tart.
