Sampled from the tap at Bottle Theory. Pours a slightly hazy dull yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has tropical fruits with a sweet citrus and a bit of rind supporting. Flavor has dank citrus and tropical fruits with sweet grains and melon supporting.

Draught @ Monochrome brewing taproom, Chicago IL (Sept 2025). Extremely hazy dull yellow with a small foamy off-white head, faint citrus peel aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter pineapple-grapefruit peel taste, thin body, long grapefruit finish. Good flavors, a solid NEIPA.

Sampled from bottle by the brewer at Orange and Brew. Pink like watermelon juice. At least a few bubbles. Even smells like watermelon juice, then there’s some Strawberry here, too. The watermelon itself is not what makes this sour. Seems like the passion fruit plays that part.

What the hell are Grungiest hops? Oh, "grun-GEIST", as in "green ghost."\
Well, in the glass, they bring a nose of big pineapple and grapefruit. Opaque hazy yellow with a touch of foam around the edge. Ah, and then some resin, too. This had more malt to back up its hop overload. As with the nose, it's full of grapefruit, orange and pineapple. Still has room for a “beer taste” of dry and malty hours. This one's malts are a much better balance, plus the extra alcohol they bring in.

Taster, because, come on! Combo color of milk and orange juice in the glass. Catbox smell of APA hops just assaults the nose. You like? Maybe I don't. But it is what it is.
Taste; almost like a hop water, at least the Lagunitas version. My tiny taster may not have brought in enough taste to let the malts settle in.

Sampled by the brewer at Orange and Brew.
Very similar to the Pallaspreviously reviewed. Cocoa nibs and some Maple come through, along with roasted coconut. A little thinner, but all of those adjuncts come through.

Solid black with a thin purple now at the edge. No fizz.
Nose is of a dozen different bourbons all poured together.
Taste is amazingly thick, like NyQuil. Thicker than any bourbon, yet not sweet, but still a constant bourbon love. No adjuncts, just a hint of coffee roast malt, maybe some vanillin. Beauty!
All I can add is that I wish straight Bourbon was this complex and delicious, instead of a palate burner.
