Blonde, slight haze. Medium head. Whacky cedar nose, wheaty, sweet up front with a fun/funky cedar note, and a grainy accent. Could probably use a bit of the tartness some of their other gruits have, but itβs fun. Reminds me of those tree beers from Illinois.

Opaque and orangey colour, without much head. The aroma is bright and juicy, with berries, and some light tropical fruit notes. On the palate, this is quite berryish, just a touch of tartness, a light unobtrusive pale malt note, low bitterness and a grapefruity hop finish. This is surprisingly good - the sea buckthorn berries really make this.

Okay foam on a light gold body, on the nose is soft lager hops, sofa farts and really vague juniper. Flavour is muddled citrus, maybe some really soft vegetal notes. Mouthfeel is full enough. Kinda planty and nothing really comes to the fore. A Meh for sure.

Hazy pale amber, thin head. Bitter, lots of orangey hop, rich biscuity malts that have just a touch of chewiness - a low lov crystal I presume - and then bitterness, rind and alcohol in the finish. Pretty much a note perfect example if the mid-00s DIPA.

Can, Legacy. Has a pretty dull appearance, shades of pink/red, no head. Can't say it looks all that enticing, but let's do this. Smells like standard kettle sour with jammy raspberry essence. Cute - like a 1995 razz wheat brewed in 2013. That's a funny thing to drink in 2020, much less from a brewer whose kettle sour series is much more accomplished. Lactic and jammy, a two note symphony, which is really just the third violinist tuning while the janitor is buffering the stage floor. Nothing wrong with that, but it's not something you'd actually pay your own money for.

Bottle from The Gull, North Vancouver
Cloudy blond colour, fluffy head. The aroma is strongly dank, weed. Some crisp malt flavour, lean mouthfeel; the hop flavour is initially resinous, lightly dank, but ends with strong pithy bitterness.
Ok, but not very exciting.

650mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, light floral notes, and biscuity malt. Flavour is full of bright flora and piney hops, moderate bitterness, and crisp biscuity malt. Bright and bitter, with a floral, piney finish. Good stuff.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a clear reddish amber with a small beige head. Nose is loaded with tart raspberries upfront and plenty of lacto. Flavour is full of tart raspberry juice; there is a bit of yogurty character from the lacto, but this is mostly tart raspberry purοΏ½e. Very tasty, albeit simple.
