Hazed old gold colour, white crown. Sabro hops doing their thing here, slight coconut finish after a more vibrant fruit start, different but not really my thing. Scored both objectively and kindly.

473mL can, pours a minimally hazed somewhat dark orange with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of resinous hops, a touch of pine, and bready malt. Flavour has some nice pine needles, resinous hops, and some sweetness. The bitterness creeps up on you, leaving plenty of resinous and spicy pine needles. Well-constructed.

Poured from 473mL can. Chill hazed orangey gold with small white head. Woody pine hops, soft resins, it grows on you and opens up more with a few minutes.

The label says unapologetically clear, but it’s hazy. Thick head. Stone fruit aroma with a touch of pine. Moderate bitterness, medium pale malt, light orangey hop. Decent “no coast” type.

473mL can. Pours almost clear blonde with large white head. Aroma has armpits and damp, floral estery notes. Flavour has haphazard Belgian yeast expression, quite floral, some spiciness from the yeast. Pretty clumsy, not the most offensive local Belgian style.

On tap at The Barley Merchant, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma has estery notes, light floral notes, and light spiciness. Flavour is sweet and estery, with too much sweetness, floral notes, and cotton candy. Standard estery North American tripel yeast isnt used properly, etc. Not good.

650 ml bottle. Pours a very dark brown with moderate head. Aromas of cola, nutty chocolate and roasted barley. Flavors of flavors of ashy roasted malts with a bit of sugar.

473 ml can. Pours a dull gold with moderate head. Aromas of earthy esters and grain. Flavors of over-ripe bananas, dull citrus, oats, and wheaty malts. Thick.

473 ml can. Pours a hazy amber with light head. Aromas of bready malts sweet caramel, grass and a bit of melon if I think about it. Flavors of toasted malts, powdery caramel and cardboard. Aromas are not too bad, but flavor is on par with a supermarket non beer.

Amber colour, with some haze, and a medium head. Big weedy, lemony, papaya fruit. Sweet base malts, bright fruitiness, moderate bitterness. Good balance to this one.
