(notes from Nov 18, 2023 because RB wouldn't log in) Poured from the tap. Clear blonde with small white head. Clean, slightly doughy malt, needs more hops. Just okay.

(notes from Nov 18, 2023 because RB wouldn't log in) Poured from the tap. Hazed blonde gold with small white head. Something slightly muddled about this, but still okay. Extremely feint passionfruit character with some pine and lactose.

Poured from the tap. Cloudy yellow with small white head. Vanilla, lacto, very light passionfruit and a touch of generic hops. Messy.

Brown, tan head. Alcoholic peppermint nose. Thin bodied, peppermint with vague malt. Not much here

Looks like ass. Oxygen in the brew so it's dull, darkish, just awful colour for an IPA. Surprised they actually released this. Smell is random fruitiness. Some bitterness, vague everything, like you know the ferm was fucked so why put it on the market? I want my fucking money back.

Dullish pale amber, medium head but it's weak. Very bitter, a bit fruity. Ends up halfway balanced, even though it probably shouldn't. Not gonna lie, this would have been much better six months fresher.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a deep dark mahogany with lots of red tints and a pink-tinged head. Aroma brings out a big dose of lacto, some funky bugs, lactose, and of course dark cherries. Flavour is full on cherry-forward, with loads of lactose, plenty of oak, and subdued bugginess. Why put lactose in this?!?! There's some nice cherry, some oak, even some nice bugs… why ruin it by sweetening it with lactose? Very puzzling decision to do it this way. There's a good beer under here, but, released in its current form, it is not optimal. And lambic-style? Embarrassing that this could be called anything approaching that territory. Get rid of the lactose and this might be good.
