Can from Munich Airport, at Home, 6th November 22. Pours a clear golden beer. Aroma is straw and fresh grass. Taste is clean and crisp. Mellow, bitter and some hay, light aromatic, not bad at all

Bottle at home, 23rd October 22. Pours a clear chestnut brown. Aroma is malty, roasted malts, light caramel. Taste is roasted malts, nutty, caramel, sweet, but tempered, more malts in the finish, cracking bock

Swing-top bottle 50cl. @home poured into a glass tankard. Clear medium amber colour, good moussy white head, good retention, fair lacing. Aroma light roasted malts, caramel, grain, biscuit. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, caramel, biscuit, slight roast. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, malty sweetbitter aftertaste, bitter notes till the end, a solid märzen, easy to drink, nice.

Draught at Gourmet Haus. Pours clear copper-mahogany with creamy, off-white head. Malty aroma and bready flavor. Flavor falls off quickly. A bit of minerality.

0.5 l bottle from 'Schürmanns Genusswelten', best before May 2023. Clear, ruby with a medium large, frothy, stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, a bit roasty aroma of caramel, toasted nuts and some chocolate. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly roasty taste of caramel, chocolate, toasted nuts and a touch of leaves, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly roasty finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent Dunkel, glad to finally have found it.

0.5 l bottle stol Akos' stash. Clear golden to dark golden, small off-white head. Malty, worty, sugary, caramelly. Sweet, malty, caramely, mineral, some vegetables. Light body, soft carbonation, too sweet, light finish. This could've really been so much better.

On tap at German American Society of Trenton Oktoberfest in Yardville, NJ. Bright gold color. Brief white head. Malty nose hints at white bread. Soft, grainy flavor has herbal, grassy hop notes. Easy drinking. Fest on!
