had this in the draft can. Watery, and light bodied. no trace of bitterness. one of my least favorite english pub ales.

Dark orange in colour. Light bodied, nutty, slightly sweetish, low bitterness. A nice easy drinking ale.

Copper-coloured with moderate head. Not much aroma. The taste of alcohol is too evident. Dry, nutty finish.

*Can version*. Decent pour (nice cascade!) but the color and aroma were kind of on the bland side. Definitely creamier than most Pale Ales I have tried so it was a unique experience. However, the enjoyment definitely diminished as I worked my way through the glass. The widget is always cool though.

Bitterness. Pale ale? Then what's the difference with all those other english beers. I haven't tasted an english quality beer yet i suppose, cos for me it's all bitterness i taste. Never a hint of sweetness or barley or what so ever, just bitterness at it's top.
