0.5l bottle, thx Fil for sharing with us! Hazy dark dark amber body, off-white head. BIt sourish sweet cherry malty aroma. Lean, dry taste, low caramely, vague cherry, dried out, low bitterness, bit tartness, gone. Shame.

0.5l bottle, enormous thanks Fil for sharing with Tonda and me! Oh wow, we were all surprised the brewery's closed! Hazy golden body, off-white head. Soft aroma, low honey, vague green apple, but pleasant. Lean, dry taste, bit yeasty, soft light honeyish maltiness, low low green apple, dry finish, trace of astringency. Fun, different, bit rustic taste, if nothing special. Still, glad to have tried it!

A clear solid yellow color. Small lingering white lace.
A neutral taste but no faults.
Low bitterness.

Bottle at home, courtesy of Beerhunter111, thanks a lot! Pours a chestnut colour with quickly disappearing off-white head. Nose is toffee, nuts, bread and toasted nuts. Taste is sweetish malts, bready notes, toasted malts, nuts and a touch of chocolate. Closes with an abrupt finish, has a light, too light body and soft to average carbonation.

0.5l bottle at F&L's, huge thanks! Crystal clear golden body, off-white thick head. Maybe vaguely buttery, bit dusty, otherwise cleanly malty aroma. Bit spicy, mildly dusty notes over a clean, soft, mild maltiness. Quite pleasant, drinkable! Very nice example of its kind, better than the sum of its parts!

Bottle picked up from Bilgo Getränke Fürth im Wald and consumed at home Thursday 12th September 2024 listening to Deb Grant and Tom Ravenscroft, New Music Fix' 6Music I had Landsmeer Salmon Pasta for tea tonight. Pours dark brown, chestnut maybe, there's an off white head. Some caramel and a nice chewy bite. It's difficult to get excited by this style but I guess that one can always appreciate a decent example of the style, and whilst I am no expert this seems to be a good one.

Bottle picked up from Bilgo Getränke, Fürth im Wald and consumed at home Wednesday 21st August 2024 listening to Snapped Ankles - Forest of Your Problems and about to heat up a homemade Chilli con Carne from out of the freezer. Pours light/mid gold, excellent clarity with a mid sized white head. Nice mouthfeel, excellent carbonation. This is a lovely Helles, a wonderful balance of sweet maltiness and a little building bite of bitterness, nice hoppiness, a little grainy, really lovely beer.

My last bottle from Erzengel - Cheers! 🍻🍻. Rocky off white head stayed on dark reddish brown body. Malt, cherry, vimto & herbal aroma. Medium to full bodied, smooth & creamy with a lighter sticky back. Malt, cherry, medicinal, raspberry & herbal tastes. Interesting & unusual.

Bottle from Erzengel - Cheers! 🍻🍻. Large foamy light brown head left a creamy froth on a chestnut coloured still body. Malt, caramel & liquorice aroma. Medium bodied, smooth & creamy with tingle on the back. Malt, liquorice, treacle & bready tastes with a lightly hopped tangy finish. Drinker.

Bottle from Erzengel - Cheers. 🍻🍻. Tight white head left a creamy cover on pale amber coloured body. Malt, grain & biscuit aroma. Medium bodied, light carbonation & cloying on the back. Malt, cereal, biscuit & sweet fruit tastes with a nicely hopped tangy finish. Good one.
