Aus der Flasche (2015 Version) 2015-08 getrunken. Yes! Dieses Ale hat eine ganz leichte, dafür erfrischende Saure Note. Extrem süffig, wenn man Biere mit eine gewissen Säure mag. Recht dicht an einem klassische Englischen Starkbier. Ich fand es super lecker. Ein halbe Stunde später - Nachtrag: Das Ding ist ein Chamäleon kalt eher wie oben beschrieben, doch je wärmer es wird wandelt es sich zu einen super leckeren Abbey Triple. Hier wird die leichte Säure gegen deutliche Hefenoten ersetzt. Aus der Flasche (2016 Version) 2016-12 getrunken. Schönes schüffiges Bier mit einem recht einfachen Malzaroma. Irgendwie ganz anders wie noch das 2015er.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 07.08.2017) 2017-05 getrunken. Dieses Porter wirkt trotz seiner 9% fast dünn. Doch er kann mit einer feinen Fruchtsäure (dunkle Beeren?) und einen süffigen Charakter überzeugen. Die typischen Porternoten von Schokolade und Kaffee bleiben deutlich hinter einer Malznote zurück.

Bottle, 9%. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, caramel, little bread and a little liquorice. Flavour is roasted malt, dark fruit, caramel, little chocolate, medium sweet, little liquorice and a little bitter.

Shared 500 ml bottle at local tasting, ABV 7.5%. Golden colour, hazy, white head. Aroma of honey and flowers. Medium sweet flavour, hints of honey again, some hops.
