As "Heller Bock". Smooth and grainy beginning. Typical "Heller Bock" aroma with too much grain. Hints of golden fruits, not much bitterness, easy to drink but not too much depth. Grainy-sweetish aftertaste with hints of dryness. Ok.

Wyglad piwa to ladne zmetnione szaro brązowy odcien piwa bez drozdzy. Niefiltrowane i niepasteryzowane, sama natura. Przyjemny bukiet zapachowy lakowo kwiatowy, nieco lesny i zywiczny. Smak to stosunkowo mało gozkie ale wytrawne przy tym i kwaskowe, trochę slodowosci było. Ogolnie przyjemne i szlachetne piwo. Polecam

On tap at the brewery in Essen. wersja draught prosto z beczki. Piwo karmelowe i nieco biszkoptowe w odbiorze. Kolor zbliżony do herbaty, miedziano-bursztynowy. Niewielka pianka szybko opadajaca. Zapach karmelu i zrumienionej skurki chleba. Ogolnie bardziej przypominalo alta niż klasycznego dunkela.

Draught at brewery. Clear golden, medium head. Apple aroma. Fruity and malty taste with balanced bitterness.

24th June 2015: large bottle (as Heller Bock) split between four at the Shrewsbury Bottle Exchange meeting, cheers Mat. Was not too sure what to expect: pleasantly surprised. Poured a clean golden amber, the head an off-white blanket. Malty nose leaning towards sweetness, the taste similar with a mild herbal twist and a slowly rising bitterness as you finish each sip. A very nice beer all round with enough going on to hide the alcohol level.

Muffig getreidig süßer Antrunk. Das helle Malz flacht zum Ende ab, dann wieder dumpf. Noch okay. 9/8/7/7/9/8

Vielen Dank an Erzengel! Leicht trübe dunkel orangebraue Farbe, geringe beige Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht röstmalzig, reife Früchte, Malzbonbons. Geschmack schwach röstmalzig, leicht fruchtig, Obst, Karamell, Pappe.

Vielen Dank an Erzengel. Fast klare goldene Farbe, sehr geringe weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch hopfig malzig, muffig, würzig. Geschmack schwach hopfig, getreidig, leicht bitter, wässrig. naja!
