Uit de fles geproefd in Ermelo. Donkerbruin gekleurd. Mout, caramel en een botertje in zowel geur en smaak. Zoet, met wat roastmout en een beetje honing in de nasmaak. Zachte koolzuurprikkeling. Eigenlijk erg lekker.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought online @ het Biermoment.nl Brown with a thin tan head. Dark caramel en dark dried fruits aroma. Sweet taste with more figs and dates. Some iron and some leather also present. Finish is medium-bitter with some alcohol warmth in the end. Pleasant Quadrupel.

De Kat Herfstbok Toos, 7% ABV, from hetbiermoment.nl. Pours dark copper-brown with beige head. Aroma is sweet, malt, caramel, some rubber. Flavor is sweet and bitter, caramel, malt, metallic notes, grains. Finish is carame, dry and hint of chocolate. Covers alcohol really well. Bottle @ home. Clear golden color, average sized white head. Smell and taste malts, herbs or spices, a bit spicy bitter and yeasty sweetness. Decent to medium body and medium carbonation. Meh.
