0.33 l bottle from ’De Bierbrigadier’, best before October 2016. Slightly hazy, golden yellow with a massive, really dense, stable, off-white head. Sweetish, fruity and a little spicy aroma of grapefruit, lemongrass, clove and some coriander. Sweetish, already slightly bitter, moderately fruity and a little spicy taste of lemongrass, cloves, some banana and hints of grapefruit and coriander, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly yeasty-spicy finish. Almost medium-bodied, rather effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Not bad, actually quite refreshing.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Thompson, Niilstrong and Bobson. Hazy amber color, small to average sized off-white to beige head that diminishes quickly. Aroma is sweet and reminds me of some weird kind of fruit. (Dutch: granaatappel of kweepeer of zoiets) Taste lightly malts, very sweet again, sweet super ripe fruit. Decent body and carbonation. Abbey dubbel? Hmm don’t think so, but it’s not a bad beer.
