Bottle. Clear, golden colour, nice frothy head with very good lacing. Aroma is malty, maybe with a bit butterscotch, and herbal. Bitterness is rather low, but pleasant. Medium body, average carbonation, bitter finish. Classy bohemian pilsener.

Big white head. Clear yellow body. Faint metallic mealy aroma. Dry grainy grassy taste with fruity notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish mouthfeel. Dry fruity metallic grassy aftertaste with boiled water notes. Nice, drinkable, a little sharp around the edges. (0.3l draft at Kufle i Kapsle, Warsaw.)

At a tasting, as "stara Praga", thanks DSG, murky yellow to brown colour, intense honey cake and mollases aroma, flavour of spoiled oxidised mead and candy, coarse strong sourness and a light bitterness. Yuck.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. As "Stara Praga" with a strange-looking home-made importer label. Bottle looks pretty old (no BBD though), cap has started to rust. Cloudy golden. Aroma of grape juice, honey, lots of cardboard and a bit of candy hints. Sweetish flavor, sugary, with cardboard. Light-bodied, fizzy. Quite disgusting.

Bottle. Nose: very weak aroma of malt. Mouth: pleasant malt, some herbal hops. Golden colour, beautiful frothy head with good lacing. Light bitterness, light sweetness. Light body, thin texture, soft carbonation, bitter finish. Very good for a light beer, lacks some character to make it really impressive.

(Draught at Zly Casy, Prague, 18 July 2013) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with bread, hay, grass and vanilla. Malty taste with notes of grass, bread, toffee and a certain vanilla sweetness. Medium body, with a gentle grassy bitterness. Quite enjoyable.

On tap at Starosloviensky Pivovar, Bratislava. Golden coloured, medium sized white head, slight herbal nose. Moderate malty, hoppy and slight herbal with pleasant bitter hoppy finish. Simple and easy-drinkable beer.

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium yellow colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, straw, light to moderate hoppy, grass, butter. Flavour is light moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, buttery, grass. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20121116]

Tap at Hostinec Richtar Jakub. Clear deeper golden colour, small white head. Aroma fresh fruity, apples, light hops. Taste sweet fruity, caramel. Very light hops. Sweet and rather watery finish. Average, I think their regular beers are much better.
