Smell of malt, grain. Golden colour, white head. Aroma of harsh malt, cereal, some grass. Fizzy carbon. Medium bitter.

Nose is pungent, with very unpleasant herbaceous notes—there’s nothing pleasant here. Flavour is really not pleasant either, with that hemp clobbering my tastebuds. It’s dry and crisp, but that hemp expression is pretty revolting.

Smell of bread, malt. Golden colour, white head. Aroma of sweet malt, bread, some grassy note. Soft, clean flavours. Medium sweet, lightly bitter. Medium carbon. Slightly oily texture.

Dark brown colour, almost black, brown large frothy head that stays quite long. Aroma is caramel, dark bread. Medium bitterness. Medium body, medium carbonation. There is some warming alcohol. Quite ok.

500 ml bottle acquired from Half Time recently. As time has gone along I’m finding I can really appreciate a black lager or black IPA, time to find out about this one. I have my Great Heights tulip glass ready to receive. A dark brown, almost black, body topped with a steady spread of khaki foam. I smell grain and a touch of hops. The drink is decent, even all right in the style. Toasted bread, malt, a hoppy bitterness, a small amount of licorice and likewise a small sweetness. Good beer.

Bottle. Really cheap (2$ bottle in manhattan) and pleasantly surprising. Dark brown wmedium head, some sugary notes, nutty aroma, & some bitterness to finish. Good value!

5ooml bottle. Cap exploded off. Loud, foamy pour. Infected. Gross aroma, fully unenjoyable waste of money. Crap in the condition I got it in.
