From bottle at MB2 06.02.26. Dark brown mahogany. Diminishing beige head. Fine aroma of roasted malt, liquorice. Fine taste of roasted malt and juniper and medium bitter hops. Well-balanced and very quaffable.

500ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Shared with Frau Eva. Spotty lacing from a remaining fawn-coloured head, deep ruby-black body. Good looking in the glass! Inviting on the nose with chocolate malts, smoothly roasted. Rich taste of chocolate, added by a note of liquorice and herbal hops. Rounded, smoothly roasted ending. Clean on the swallow. A pleasant surprise. Nice partner to our Abba herring dinner. (Tromsø, 03.02.2026).

0,5 lahve od VP Verksgata, domácí: čirá, tmavě kaštanová barva s příjemným červeným nádechem a vynikající pěnou, která dlouho vydrží. Opečený sladký žitný chléb, bylinky, jehličnatý les a náznaky červených bobulí. Příjemná hořkost v polosuchém závěru. Lahodné pivo.

500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.8%. Dark brown colour, nearly black. Large beige head. Aroma of lightly roasted malts, brown bread, pumpernickel, a hint of chocolate and herbal hops. Pleasant and well balanced flavour with the same elements, not too sweet, hints of coffee, moderate bitterness. This stronger export version is recommended!

Nose is pungent, with very unpleasant herbaceous notes—there’s nothing pleasant here. Flavour is really not pleasant either, with that hemp clobbering my tastebuds. It’s dry and crisp, but that hemp expression is pretty revolting.
