Flasche 0,33l (Kalea Bier-Adventskalender): Kupfer, glasklar, stabiler mittelporiger Schaum; kräftig malzige + würzige Nase, florale/grasige Hopfenaromen, dunkle/eingelegte Früchte, Malz, dunkles Karamell, nussig, malzig-würzige Bitterkeit; frischer + malziger Körper, dunkle/eingelegte Früchte, Röstmalz, dunkles Karamell, cremig, moderate Kohlensäure, trockene florale Hopfennoten, leicht nussig, dunkles Brot, Brotkruste; malzig-würziger Nachgang

Beim Aufmachen der Flasche kommt mir gleich das Bier entgegen und versaut mir den Tisch. Das gibt gleich mal Sympathiepunkte.
Entsprechend überwältigend ist auch die Schaumentwicklung beim Einschenken. Hält aber nicht lange. Das Bier ist kupferfarben, der Schaum dafür erstaunlich hell. Aromatischer Geruch - Malz, Holz, Frucht und Likör. Geschmacklich ist das Bier dunkelmalzig (ohne allzu große Röstnoten) mit Nuancen von getrockneten Früchten, Holz, Blumen, Pumpernickel und Waldhonig. Insbesondere, wenn das Bier etwas an Temperatur gewinnt kommt das gut raus. Erinnert mich an das eine oder andere belgische Klosterbier (auch wenn die vom Alkoholgehalt in einer ganz anderen Liga spielen). Das Bier pumpt innerhalb der ersten 3 Minuten nach seiner Öffnung seine ganze Kohlensäure in die Atmosphäre. Entsprechend ist es dann superweich und kaum noch spritzig - ich mag das.
OK, das Gushing hat mich extrem abgenervt - aber, das ist doch ein sehr interessantes und schmackhaftes dunkles Bier mit einer tollen Aromatik (und das bei gerade mal 4,9 % Alk).

Bottle picked up from Äpfel Getrankemarkt Moosburg (I think 🤔). Consumed Wednesday 24th December 2025, Christmas Eve. We're cooking Nidi di Tagliatelle al forno (baked pasta nests) listening to c/Nightbus - Passenger. Pours clear light brown, excellent clarity. It was a bit eager to leave the bottle but the head didn't last long long. Not too much on the aroma, there's a gentle light malt but not much else. Taste is simple but really boring, mouthfeel good, light molasses, but very little else to talk about, boring. Score 6.0

330ml bottle. Minimally milky, yellow-ish golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly bready malty and minimally doughy yeasty aroma, hints of brioche. Taste is minimally bready, pale malty, mildly bitter hoppy and minimally doughy yeasty, hints of cereals, corn flakes, crisp bread, a touch of brioche; slightly and minimally mineral finish without substance.
Minimally oily, watery texture, smooth, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium to fine, dense, mildly prickly carbonation.
Rather typical NA beer, not too doughy though - acceptable.

Can. Clear gold with the usual three finger. Seems German beers have similar sized foamy heads. Taste and aroma well balanced with a slight lean to the malty grains side.

Can. Deep gold with a three finger head. Aroma is grains and hay. Taste is sweet grains.

330ml bottle. Clear golden pour, big white head. Aroma is grainy, grassy, lots of cereals and pale malts. Low bitterness, nice cereal finish, refreshing, a nice quaff.
