Bottled (from Tesco). Yellowish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is grains and some bready tones. Flavour is grainy, herbal and some mild earthy yones. Very simplistic, and actually just plain boring. Not off or anything. Just too mild elements of everything here.

Pour is a clear but dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is a small roasty malt but more of a raisin. Flavor is more of a dark fruit than anything else. Finish is a little syrupy with some caramel left on the tongue. Probably one of those beers where having it in the home country would do it a world of difference. As it is now it's kind of meh but was still going in the right direction.

Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass with a small head. Starts dry malty with some metallical notes, bitter background. Some soapy hints. Finish well balanced, still a bit metallical-malty. Okay.

500 ml bottle. Dark, mahogany brown color. Rocky tan head. Sweet, earthy roasted malt aroma. Flavor is sweet roasted malt. Very lightly carbonated. Not much character other than the dark maltiness. Caramel, dried fruit, dark bread. A bit on thin side. Somewhat disappointing.

Lahev (@ Albert, Arkády Pankrác) : Deep golden, clear, small and stable white head, mild to moderate sweetish-caramelly and mildly toasty nose with a mild but distinctive earthy -leafy background; more moderate than robust bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; slightly lingering malty and earthy-bitter finish. V pořadku! Ale na štitku se najde malý žertík: “Nejlepší pivo typu BOCK na světě”…

Bottle 50 cl, as Vershovice Tmavý Ležák. Dark brown, creamy coffee foam. Aroma: sweet, caramel, kvass, a little sourness and bread. Sweetish taste, caramel with sourness, kvass and prunes, black bread, a little bit of hops. Beer without enthusiasm.

Bottle 50 cl, as Vershovice Světlý ležák. Golden, clear, white foam. Aroma: slightly sulphurous and spicy hops with grassy tones, some sweetness and candy malt. Malty taste, light initial sweetness and even a touch of honey, candy, grassy hops, from light to medium bitterness in the finish, clean, overly refined, a little soulless.
