Dark brown with beige head. Very strong caramel aroma. Sweet and roasted malt flavour, some molasses and more caramel.

Roasted aroma. Brown with red tint. Flavor of roasted malt, but one dimensional and not much flavor at all. Low ABV but alcohol is present in the taste. Don’t bother with this beer.

Bottle. Fresh, bready aroma. Firm head. Mild flavour with bitter aftertaste. Slightly sweet.

Dark Czech beers are a little harder to find than their Bohemian Pilsner cousins but I think there must be better out there. This was out of balance, needing more hops to support the overly sweet chocolate palate. O.K. but not great.

Clear golden color, short white head. Hoppy aroma. Hopbitter taste. What more to say? It's just a pretty average example of the Czech pilseners.

Bottled(330ml). -Nice reddish ruby dark brown coloured, small head, fizzy. Light coffee and caramel taste, quite watery palate. Ordinary drinkable dunkel.
