Bottle. Just slightly better than your average lager. Dont know what the fuzz is all about.

Golden with disappearing white head. Malty aroma with some hops. Sweet and thin flavour of malt and with a hint of hop bitterness.

Bottled. Clear, light sparkling and golden beer with a decent white head. Quite malty, with a nice hoppy background. Malty flavor with grains and some hay. Hoppy finish and a thin body. Not a favorite but certainly drinkable. (060705)

Thanks to Hair-old for this beer. It was in a green bottle but protected from light by the cardboard 12-pack. This is actually quite good. I attribute the poor scores to bad bottles and general under-appreciation of pilsners. In good condition, this beer is very enjoyable. It is dark gold. Powerful hops for the style. Medium bitterness. Full bodied.

Bottle. Papery aroma. Golden colour, fizzy white head. Watery mouthfeel. The flavour has some malt, a bit of yeast, reminding me of Belgian yeast. Not so clean or crisp.

Bottled. Clear golden, average head. Bready aroma with evident notes of hay and diacetyl. Sweet malty flavour with clean, hard mouthfeel. Butterscotch is very obvious. Medium bitterness with grassy tones. Pleasantly traditional old style Czech beer.
