Bottled. A golden beer with an OK white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of straw, grain, and caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of straw and some caramel and grain, leading to a nicely bitter finish.

Medium grassy aroma. Brassy gold color with a white head that rapidly flattened. Leaves shreds of lace. Medium mouthfeel. Mild carbonation. It starts with malt/hop balance and continues that way to the end. A clean, crisp flavor, and it finally ends with decent bitterness. Qualifies as pilsener. There are some really nice pilseners out there that rate higher, but this one does well as a representive of the style.

Dark ruby color, thick off-white head. Aroma is unclean with hints of diacetyl, rubbergrassy hops and caramel. Buttery-diacetylic flavor with metallic hints, caramelly notes. This can be same beer as 1795 Original Czech Lager Dark - at least ABV is same and comes with same unclean notes.

Golden color, decent white head. Typical woody-buttery Bohemian pils aroma, but iron is dominating the nose. Basicly flavor pars to aroma. Woody hoppy, malty, metallic ... oily aftertaste. A bit light flavor palette, could be more solid. Nothing wrong in this brew, but I’ve had better ones from Czech. This is similar to more famous product of its hometown.

Bottle: Pale golden coloured, smaller white lacing head; papery, a bit bready nose; moderate dry bitter flavour, light bodied to watery, empty MF; short dry, delicate bitter finish. Nothing unpleasant detectable, but all in all a thin pleasure...

Clear golden coloured body with a very thing white head. Aroma of lemons, cardboard, and malt. Light-bodied; sharp flavored of malt, very strong cardboard, and some nuts. Aftertaste of malt and light hop coupled with a very light nuttiness. Overall an alright beer, nothing special though. I sampled this 12 oz beer purchased at Chevy Chase Wine & Spririts in Washington,D.C. on 21-April-2007 at the Eastern Shore in VA.

0.5L bottle. medium brown, some coffe flavours though not very distinct, light body, short aftertaste. Not a complex beer but very easy to drink. Good session beer. Very good with an anchovy pizza.
