Bottled. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is malts, some slight diacetyl and hops. Flavour is malty and sweet along with some balancing hops. Some slight diacetylic notes in there, but all in all a good balance. Sadly not very exciting beer.

(33cl bottle) Clear, golden colour with a shor, slightly eggshell-coloured foamy head. Sweet malty, bicuity and slightly buttery nose with strong notes of grassy hops. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, crispy mouthfeel. Quite balanced malty and grassy hoppy taste; medium-dry, mild-bitter finish. Decent beer.

Bottle. Clear golden with almost no head. Aroma is a bit light and is malty and a bit hoppy. Flavor starts malty, grainy sweetish and then turns into mild hoppy bitterness. Light to medium body. Pretty weak.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, pilsener golden with a white head. Clean, malty nose. Medium body with clean, sweetish malt and a weak metallic edge. Dry but not overly bitter finish. A classic example of the style. 210607

Bottle (33cl): Golden coloured, thin, but quite stable head; typical sweet-pale-malty and aromatic-hoppy nose, "disturbed" by a spoonful of grassy hops (extract ?); moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, shy, but detectable malty base; illusions of aromatic hops in the pale-malty finish. Rather decent.........

Bottled. A golden beer with an OK white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of straw, grain, and caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of straw and some caramel and grain, leading to a nicely bitter finish.

Medium grassy aroma. Brassy gold color with a white head that rapidly flattened. Leaves shreds of lace. Medium mouthfeel. Mild carbonation. It starts with malt/hop balance and continues that way to the end. A clean, crisp flavor, and it finally ends with decent bitterness. Qualifies as pilsener. There are some really nice pilseners out there that rate higher, but this one does well as a representive of the style.

Bottled, alc. 3.8 % (BB 05/2008)
Dark ruby color, thick off-white head. Aroma is unclean with hints of diacetyl, rubbergrassy hops and caramel. Buttery-diacetylic flavor with metallic hints, caramelly notes. This can be same beer as 1795 Original Czech Lager Dark - at least ABV is same and comes with same unclean notes.
