500ml bottle, BB 11/15. Pours hazy yellow with a big off-white head. Aroma if wheat and cloves. Taste is wheat and malts. Not as flavoursome as the bigger name weizens, but not that bad. Would buy it again if it was fresh.

500ml bottle, BB 11/15. Pours clear gold with a small white head. Aroma of malt and bread. Initially there was an strong (and unpleasant) metal taste, although it dissipated after a couple of minutes, then bread and malt. Mild and enjoyable Helles.

SEP-2019. BOTTLE. Murky brown with huge yeast floaties, creamy beige head. The aroma is caramel and toffee, notes of dark fruit and old husky malts. Medium sweet taste with a pretty dull character, lacking the reach weizen malts as well as esters or tartness - just a little toffee and papery husky notes. It does have a certain juiciness. Ok body. Overall, a pretty mediocre weizen. 3,1/5.

2015. SWING-TOP 50 CL. Cloudy mahogany, big beige head. Classic aroma, but not too big. Wheat tartness, but not too fruity and not too spicy. The taste is simple, quite dry and a bit flat. Not much malts, fruity esters or clove, but with quite some hop bitterness. Still, a decent weizen. 3,1/5.

SWING-TOP 50 CL. Cloudy golden, big ivory head. Classic aroma, but not too big. Wheat tartness, a bit of whey even, clove, but not too fruity. The taste is simple and quite dry. Not much malts or fruity esters, just some clove and even some hop bitterness. Tastes a bit flat, even though it has the body, which is quite smooth. Still, a decent weizen.

SWING-TOP 50 CL. Clear golden, white head. Clean malt sweetness along with some minerals in the nose. The taste is just as simple - malt sweetness and light herbal hops in the finish. That’s it! Immaculate and crisp body. Good, though a bit boring of course.

SWING-TOP 50 CL. Clear golden, white head. Fruity aroma with notes of cooked apples and light herbal hops. The taste has quite a bit of that apple pie sweetness along with some very light cider notes, but has a big a clean enough herbal hop bitterness to balance. Light astringency. Not a bad, middle of the road German pils.
