Bottle. A hazy, dark golden beer with a dense, finger-thick beige head. Lacings. The aroma is quite boozy, with dried fruits and some sugary malts. Boozy, sugary flavor too. Some bitterness. Rather dry on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation level. Lasting sweet, boozy and bitter finish. Not very well crafted this one, lasting the complexity a quad should have and way too boozy. 141108

Pours hazy amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, dried fruits, alcohol and yeast. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long boozy caramel and yeasty finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Can. A creamy, off-white head of finger-thick height forms over a clear, golden body. The aroma has some spent grains, but mostly it’s fruity and malty. Pale malts that is. The flavor has some bitterness in the far back, with fruityness and a little touch of pale malts. Medium body, soft carbonation. Superbly boring this one, no need to repeat. 141018

Can. An unclear, amber colored beer topped by a small, off-white to light beige head. The aroma is fruity and flowery, with some caramel, herbs and leaf wood forest. It’s medium bodied and soft on the palate, semi-sweet. Caramel, flowers and some citrus in the flavor, a bit too low on bitterness both at first and in the swallow. A decent one indeed, but too sweet I think. 141018

Can. It pours almost colorless, clear and with some white bubbles on top. The aroma is mostly sweetish canned apples and pears, with white sugar. It’s sweet and sodapop-ish on the palate, except there’s less carbonation. Soft, medium to thin. Sweet sugary canned apple flavor and finish. Well, it doesn’t taste bad, but still it’s not a drink I could repeat. 141011

Bottle. A dense, finger-thick light beige head forms over a more or less clear dark amber colored body. The aroma has some toffee, lightly roasted malts, alcohol and a grassy, resiny hoppy touch. It’s quite warming on the body, with a bitterness bringing it out of balance. It’s not sweet or full-bodied enough to deal with it. Toffee, anise seeds and resins in the flavor, with a bready touch. Lasting warming finish. A decent one, would probably do better with something to eat with it. 141011

It’s sweet and lightly warming on the palate, with the same weissbier-ish elements found in the aroma. Some bitterness towards the very end. Full body, soft carbonation.
