Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, reddish brown with an off-white head. Nutty aroma, a whiff of phenols. Medium body, very soft on the palate, nutty, some burned caramel and a dryish, hoppy finish. Not a bad tasting beer at all, but not really a Bock or a Weizen Bock at all. More like an ESB or an English Strong Ale. 190515

Draught at the brewpub juli 2013 as Jubi-Bock 300. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bittter nice caramellic/fruity flavor. Long moderate bitter finish. Dark fruits present. Creamy palate.

Bottle as Bollingsø Påskebryg, from my students - thank you :-) Pours hazy orangeish amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel and fruit, with hoppy and estery notes. Sweetish, fruity flavour with notes of malt and caramel, complemented by bitter, hoppy touches and estery hints. Bittersweet aftertaste with some hints of metal and yeast. High carbonation and solid mouthfeel. Not bad for a non-Belgian beer of this style, although nothing really revolutionary.
