On tap at Lab-44. Golden colour, white head. Aroma of sweet malts, light grainy, grassy and light lemony hop. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, light grassy, light lemony, soft bitterness. Light bodied. Decent effort. More of a Helles imo.

Tap at the brewpub. Deep amber color almost clear fine lacing white head. Flavor of actual tripel, lots of juicy malts, wheat, grains and mild.fruity tones. Hop variety provides an indense citrusy to balance the sticky mash leading to a white wine dry finish. General flavor reminds me of triple karmeliet, my reference in the style. Really surprised by this one, provides the taste of tripels at the fraction of abv, nice one.

Tap at the brewpub. Ligth amber color, bright, almosy clear, short white head, faint persistence. Aroma of grainy malts and light juicy tones and hints of orange. I can't feel honey here, maybe just a floral touch. Dry finish quite clean. A decent golden ale after all.
JaKeAFC (2242) reviewed Summer Session IPA from Brouwerij Hoop 6 years ago
Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5
Tap at the brewpub. Golden color almost clear, rough white head fair persistence. Flavor of american hops, citrus, spruce, pineapple, grapefruit, pine. Smoothed by crisp pilsener/pale malts and touches of roasted grains. Taste balanced, sugary, grassy, bitter. Dry finish, automatic, bitter. Very clean. Stronger in the style, more a straight pale than a session IPA though quite nice and refreshing.
