The bottle looks better than the other Braumeister-bottles, the beer in the glass is okay, deep black, fine head. Starts mild-malty, modest roasy and smoky, not too dry. Well balanced finish. Nice stuff!

Bügelverschlußflasche: Golden, lively carbonation, big firm/stable white head, grainy doughy nose with a paery touch and some hops underneath; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, smooth, light to medium bodied; light soft bitter sweetish-grainy finish. Pleasant, but the aroma’s only mediocre.......

Bügelverschlußflasche: Deep golden, a bit unclear, lively carbonation, mid-sized lacy off-white head; sweet corny-grainy nose with in fluences of toasted malt; light, mainly sweetish flavour, light to medium bodied; sweet toasty-grainy finish with a liitle bitterness in the very end. O.K., a bit too much on the sweet side.....

The bottle looks terrible, much too complex. The beer in the glass is deep black, a little bit red. Starts very sweet, like sugar, very much like cola, the finish is a bit yeasty. Not a good beer!

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a slightly hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma of malt and a wee whiff of butter. Medium body, some malts and an underlying acidity. Dry and bitter finish. 291108

The bottle looks really old, GDR-style. Sourish aroma. Tastes the same: sourish, a bit grasy, modest spicy finish. Not really a good export!

The bottle looks like a cheap beer, the beer in the glass also. Tastes moldy, modest hoppy and dry. Hard and metallically finish. Not good!
