Description
Two Roads Brewing Company was founded in 2012 by four friends who dreamed for years of starting a craft brewery. We foster a “road less traveled” philosophy in the beers we make and how we make them. In that spirit, Phil Markowski, our award-winning Brewmaster and 27 year craft beer veteran has created an extensive lineup that takes a unique twist on classic beer styles. Two Roads was named one of the ten best breweries in America by Paste Magazine and has won many awards including gold for Belgian Lambic style Ale in 2016 at the Great American Beer Festival.
Two Roads isn’t just the logo on our brewery building, it’s our philosophy. Life always seems to offer up two ways to go. It just so happens, we prefer the one less taken and having some fun along the way – in our lives, our careers and especially for our beers! Now our “road less traveled” philosophy is being brought to life in the beers that we create and how we create them.

My first selection out of a Halftime delivery. Right off I will say I love the name of the beer, a little personal history in that. Pint can opened and pouring inside of a tulip glass from ABGB in Austin. I see a dark orange liquid with an almost purely white head. Good carbonation brought to the party. The scent is yellow fruit and a touch of pine. Pedestrian nose, the taste is old-school grand. I determine mucho hops, crackers, grapefruit, malt and straw. Nicely bitter and the finish is somewhat dry. A pleasant surprise.

Big pounder can. Big slightly hazy pale pour. Thin white head. Nose is volatile waxy IPA perfume. Taste is a little less alky than I thought it would be but mind you, it still has this numbing effect on the tongue. After a few gulps, a slight euphoric sensations sets in, goes right to yer head. Man, this stuff is almost cloying but not; mouth coating never the less. Now, it follows with this warming sensation down in my gullet. Yes, it is a bit sticky, but I think this is a little better than most imperial IPA, I'd say its really a strong ale, not an impy IPA. Strong nasty over the top high octane ale, what else can be said? It lacks the hops you'd normally find in a double IPA but still is one kick ass beer, whew. You need a quick buzz? This can supply it.

16 oz can from John, thanks once more my friend, 4/18/22. Best before July '22. Hazed yellowish-orange color with a foamy white head. Orange, melon, tangerine. Sweet and juicy. Bit of candied sugar toward the later palate. Hides the ABV pretty well. Could use some bitterness, but I do like it more than many as far as sweet, juicy, and boozy IPAs go.
