Two Roads isn’t just the logo on our brewery building, it’s our philosophy. Life always seems to offer up two ways to go. It just so happens, we prefer the one less taken and having some fun along the way – in our lives, our careers and especially for our beers! Now our “road less traveled” philosophy is being brought to life in the beers that we create and how we create them.

Can to stange.
Appearance: orange color with a slim cap of white foamy head which dissipated fairly quick and didn't leave any lace
Aroma: lime flesh and skin - slightly tart and sweet, sour-ed wheat and a subtle whiff of salt
Flavor: pretty much copies the aromas in a sweet to sour to tart and salty sort of way; finishes salty, tart and sour wheaty with the lime
Texture: light bodied, sessionable; some smoothness but also some tart nicks to the tongue - nothing overbearing
Overall: this one is way more Gose like than the plum one, I'm not exactly sure why as I believe the fruits were probably just swapped out from the base but eh, who really knows? I believe I'd have to come back to this in that respect.

Can to stange.
Appearance: orange color with a finger and a half's worth of white foamy head which dissipated fairly quick and didn't leave any lace
Aroma: plum flesh and skin - slightly tart and sweet, sweet wheat and a whiff of lemon sweetness
Flavor: pretty much mirrors the aromas in a sweet to tart sort of way and adds a little bit of salt; finishes salty, tart and sweet wheaty with the plums
Texture: light bodied, sessionable; some smoothness but also some tart nicks to the tongue - nothing overbearing
Overall: as a salted plum tart ale, it works and I could come back to it in that respect.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: orange to copper color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which trailed off at a nice pace to leave some light lace
Aroma: mango to papaya and lemon sweet scents; light perfume to floral notes; light soap notes, bubblegum and sweet candied pomme-like fruits and some herbal quality down in there
Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas to a sweet to floral sweet to dry candy sweet quality: finishes fairly dry and somewhat like lemon candy with a new herbal tone to it
Texture: light to medium bodied, slightly sessionable; some smoothness but also noted dryness
Overall: I think I could have done without the soapy to bubblegum scent and the excessive sweet candy-like taste but other than those two things, this is a somewhat do-able beer.

Appearance: chill haze orange color with a finger and a half of white foamy head which slid off at a nice pace and left some light lace.
Aroma: lemon, orange, grapefruity, pineapple dark berries, earthy tones, subtle hay/straw and some funky to sour tones
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine funky to tart to sour and slightly sweet sort of quality; finishes the same way
Texture: light to medium bodied, slightly sessionable; light smoothness with a touch of dryness and the funky & sour character seems to not get in the way
Overall: not a bad saison, turned way better than I was thinking.

On tap at Burger Bar, Colchester, VT.
Appearance: dark orange/almost brown color with a bar pour's kind of slim head which slid off and didn't leave any lace
Aroma: pumpkin sweetness, cinnamon, and I think allspice; then some vanilla, light baker's chocolate, some other weird vegetal backing
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a sweet and semi-spicy vibe; finishes fairly dry mostly with the pumpkin, vanilla and cinnamon
Texture: medium bodied - maybe just a touch under; some sessionability to this despite the big ABV; subtle smoothness as the spices seem to be fairly faint
Overall: I believe I've had better pumpkin beers so I'm not entirely sure how much I need to come back to this one.

Bottle to snifter.
Appearance: dark brown color close to black in color with a two finger eggshell white foamy head which tapered off at a nice pace to leave some light lace
Aroma: some floral and spicy rye notes, dark chocolate, barrel woody spice, good level of ash to burnt notes then some milk chocolate
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a sweet ashy to spicy rye and chocoaltey vibe; finishes pretty ashy and barrel spicy
Texture: medium bodied, this is a sipper; not really smooth as the rye really hits hard and the ashy-ness really dries the whole thing out
Overall: I liked the rye aromas and flavors but honestly, I think they need to scale back how the rye is conveyed in the feel.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: dark copper color with a finger and a quarter of white foamy head which dissipated at a nice pace to leave some light lace
Aroma: floral, grapefruity and mango/papaya-ish hoppy tones; subtle malts underneath
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a sweet to bittersweet quality: finishes very floral
Texture: medium bodied, semi-sessionable; some smoothness but also some hop aggression
Overall: though I'm not much of a Two Roads fan, this isn't a bad beer, perhaps again, maybe.

From beerolution, Troisdorf, best before 05/25, tasting it with pleasure, two days ago, at Epalinges. Solid and old school ipa, medium body, malty, note of sweetness typical for a double, resinous, bitter and citrus, boozy, subtle.
